TELLISCOPE / TELLABLE LLP
Privacy Policy
Effective date: 20 October 2026
1. Scope and responsibility
This policy explains how Tellable LLP handles personal information in connection with Telliscope’s marketing website, application, subscriptions, Company DNA and support. It applies to information we process for our own account and explains our handling of customer-provided material. Where a business customer provides personal information about others for processing on its instructions, that customer remains responsible for its collection, notices and permissions. A separate data-processing agreement, where agreed, supplements this policy.
2. Information we handle
- Account and contact information: names, business details, email addresses, phone numbers, account identifiers and communications you provide.
- Billing records: plan, invoices, tax details where provided, payment status, transaction identifiers and subscription records.
- Company DNA and content: uploaded business documents, prompts, website content, generated drafts, approvals and publishing instructions. These may contain personal information if you include it.
- Connected data: website, search and analytics information you authorise us to access, including through Google Analytics or Google Search Console, and the credentials or access tokens required for an integration.
- Technical and usage information: device/browser information, IP addresses, logs, account activity and security events generated when the website or app is used, together with analytics identifiers, pages or screens viewed and feature-interaction events where analytics is enabled.
Please provide only information necessary for the service. Do not upload payment secrets or sensitive personal data that is unnecessary for your content workflow.
3. Why we use information
We use information to create and manage accounts; supply research, drafting, publishing and monitoring features; operate authorised integrations; process subscriptions and refunds; respond to support and grievances; prevent misuse; protect security; troubleshoot performance; understand how the website and app are used and improve their features and usability; and meet legal, accounting and dispute-resolution obligations. Where consent is required, we request it for the relevant purpose and provide a means to withdraw it. Withdrawing a permission needed for a feature may prevent that feature from working.
We do not treat acceptance of the Terms of Use as blanket consent to unrelated marketing or tracking.
4. AI processing and Company DNA
Telliscope uses Anthropic’s Claude to support AI-assisted features. Customer prompts and relevant Company DNA or content may be processed by Claude to produce the requested result. Uploaded Company DNA is not used for model training. This statement does not mean that model processing is unnecessary: selected information is still sent to the AI provider to perform the requested task.
We limit access to customer material to service delivery, authorised support, security and legal purposes. Do not supply another person’s confidential or personal information without appropriate authority.
5. Service providers and authorised sharing
- Anthropic / Claude: AI inference for research and content features.
- Vercel: hosting and application infrastructure.
- Google Analytics: usage measurement where enabled, and customer-authorised analytics integrations where applicable.
- PostHog: product and usage analytics to understand interactions with the website or app, assess feature use and improve the service where enabled.
- Google Search Console: access to connected search-performance information at the customer’s direction.
- Razorpay and payment partners: payment processing, recurring-payment administration, refunds and payment-related compliance.
Relevant provider notices are available from Anthropic, Vercel, Google, PostHog and Razorpay. Each provider may also handle information for its own legally required or independently determined purposes.
We may disclose information where legally required, to enforce our agreements or protect rights and security, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards and notice where required. We do not sell personal information. Providers may process information outside India, subject to applicable transfer restrictions and contractual safeguards.
6. Cookies, analytics and browser storage
The marketing site’s Get Found game stores a best score in your browser’s local storage under telliscope-best. You can remove it by clearing site data; doing so resets the score. The app and connected services may use storage or cookies for sign-in, security and preferences. Where non-essential analytics or cookies are enabled, we will provide the notice and choice required by applicable law. Browser settings can restrict cookies, although some account features may then stop working.
We use PostHog for product analytics where enabled. Depending on the configuration, PostHog may use cookies, local storage or other identifiers to associate usage events, such as page views and feature interactions, with a browser, session or account. Analytics helps us understand usage and improve the service. Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential analytics or device storage, collection is subject to that choice; you may withdraw consent through the available privacy controls or contact us at contact@telliscope.app. Accepting our Terms of Use does not itself constitute consent to non-essential analytics.
Google Search Console integration data is distinct from Google Analytics tracking of visitors. Connecting your property authorises only the access covered by the permissions you grant; you can revoke permissions through your Google account.
7. Retention and deletion
Company DNA and other customer account content are scheduled for automatic removal seven days after the subscription’s paid access ends. Cancelling renewal does not start that period while your current paid month is still active. Export needed materials before access ends or request assistance before deletion. Removal from active systems does not remove copies already published to your website, downloaded by you or retained by systems you control.
Billing, transaction, tax, consent, security and complaint records may be kept separately for as long as required by applicable law or reasonably necessary to resolve an ongoing dispute or enforce legal rights. These limited exceptions do not authorise continued content generation from cancelled Company DNA. Third-party providers’ independently controlled records are governed by their own legal obligations and notices.
8. Security and your choices
We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle, but no system can guarantee absolute security. Protect your password, review team permissions and promptly report suspected unauthorised access.
You may contact us to request access to information about you, correction, deletion or withdrawal of consent, and to raise a privacy grievance. We may need proportionate identity verification and may retain records where law requires. We will handle requests in accordance with the law applicable at the time. We do not require you to disclose unnecessary personal information to make a request.
9. Children
Telliscope is a business service intended for adults aged 18 and above. It is not directed to children. If you believe a child has supplied personal information, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
10. Updates and privacy contact
We will publish the current policy with its effective date and give additional notice of material changes where required. A new use of information requiring separate consent will not be authorised merely by changing this policy.
